The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet by Thalassa Chapter 1324

Chapter 1324

She’d rather spare a scumbag like Bruce than let him know the truth.

She’d rather have him think that she and Bruce are father and daughter than be with him after clearing up the misunderstanding.

Five years ago, he’d promised to take care of her. He even took her to home to introduce her to his grandparents.

If it weren’t for Zephyr’s intervention, he would’ve married her before finding out she was Bruce’s daughter.

But truth turned out that she didn’t want to marry him.

To escape from him, she was willing to bear the burden of a deep-seated vendetta.

All because she couldn’t let go of Leopold, with him occupying her heart entirely.

Even Leopold’s good buddy, Callum Gordon, received special treatment from her.

She’d rather be close to Callum than to him.

Lysander thought about it, and his typically unyielding heart seemed to bleed and ache profoundly.

As a child, his father had warned him never to fall for a woman who didn’t love him, or else the outcome would be grim.

Yet, he didn’t heed his father’s advice.

He followed in his father’s footsteps, falling for a woman who didn’t harbor feelings for him, a woman who wanted to flee from him.

So this was the pain of unrequited love-sharp and bitter.

But he was not like his father. He would never give up!

He was going to find her now, marry her, and keep her by his side for life.

“David,” Lysander suddenly spoke.

David, always cautious, responded, “Mr. Sinclair, what can I do for you?”

Lysander inquired, “What’s usually needed for a proposal?”

“What?” David was taken aback, hardly believing what he’d heard.

Mr. Sinclair was talking about proposing?

But to whom?

Thalassa?

Chapter 1324

It must be Thalassa. Aside from her, there was no other woman in Lysander’s life.

This was fantastic new. Thalassa’s waiting had finally paid off.

Although David himself had never been in love, he’d watched his fair share of rom-coms.

“A proposal can’t go without a ring,” he eagerly suggested.

A ring?

Lysander’s eyes narrowed slightly. The necklace he’d given Thalassa had been dissolved.

There were no gifts from him left on Thalassa.

Buying a ring for Thalassa wasn’t a bad idea.

“Let’s go to the mall,” Lysander instructed.

“Alright,” David, more excited than Thalassa, quickly turned the steering wheel.

Lysander was going to propose to Thalassa, and soon she’d be able to openly be with him.

Although he wasn’t the one being proposed to, David’s mood soared with joy.

Thalassa was finally going to reap the rewards of her long suffering!

Arriving at the mall, Lysander walked into the most upscale jewelry store.

Upon seeing the distinguished Lysander approach, the saleslady served him cautiously and with palpable trepidation.

“Mr. Sinclair, what kind of ring are you looking for?” the saleslady asked nervously, finding Lysander too handsome and his aura too imposing to even look him in the eye.

Lysander asked in his low, resonant voice, “What ring is suitable for a proposal?”

“Oh, a proposal,” the saleslady gasped in surprise. She hadn’t heard of Mr. Sinclair having

a girlfriend. There weren’t even rumors of one, why the sudden proposal?

As a loyal fan of Lysander’s, the saleslady’s heart shattered.
